I'm Andy. I'm almost exactly as old as Final Fantasy I and share a

nationality with Nobel Laureate Octavio Paz.

Despite having formal studies as an Environmental Engineer, I now work

in IT, mostly by virtue of having over 3 decades of experience tinkering

with computers and the internet.^[1] For instance: on one particular

boring day at my first job I decided to take a look at a link sent by a

friend: Learn Python the Hard Way. And today, 13 years or so later I

was saved from the lowest rung of this particular ladder thanks to my

knowing how to manipulate .csv files with pandas.

Despite having formal studies as an Environmental Engineer, I enjoy

writing and according to some people I'm not half bad. Thus, I've

decided to leave a small mark in the world by way of writing. I'll

eventually add some links to other places where I've decided to publish.
